Course Content: Focusing on Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure technologies. This module covers Terminal Services, Web Services infrastructure and security. Media Server, Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services server options. File Server, Print Services, network maintenance, and Simple Network Management Protocol.

Prerequisites: 

Before attending this course, students must have:

  • Fundamentals of Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure and Application Platform.
  • Configuring and Troubleshooting a Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure.
    In addition, it is recommended, but not required, that students have completed:
  • Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Minimum of one year of experience administering and supporting TS.
  • Minimum of one year of experience administering and supporting Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2003 R2.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in administering certificate services.
  • Network + certification.
