Successful completion of a pharmacy technician education program that, at the time of the applicant's graduation, was accredited by The Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP)  (i.e., graduating 2008 or later from an accredited program that has achieved either provisional or full accreditation status.
Successful standing and status, gained up to and including December 31, 2008, on the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination.
Successful completion of an accredited pharmacist degree program in Canada or the United States
Successful standing and status, gained up to and including June 30, 2008, on the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board of Alberta (PTCB-AB) Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination.
