Analyze: We will learn about the audience education background, their job role, current skills matrix, identified skills development needs and their learning style as well as organization needs that meets the training goals and objectives.
Define: We will define short and long range training plans, training opportunities or problems, training priority, support for training initiatives and create the instructional objectives and learning outcomes topic by topic and with high level summary related to the real world application requirements.
Design: We will design the course and courseware that motivates the learner to solve real world problems by activating learner’s prior knowledge to practice new knowledge keeping in mind experience, reflection, generalization and application.
Test: The course and courseware will be tested in a beta class to be attended by subject matter experts as well as actual students; feedback will be collected for further improvement on various parameters.
Improve: Any observed deficiencies will be corrected based on the beta testing feed back.
Release: The course and courseware will be released for the live class after appropriate approvals with assigned versions wherever applicable.
Evaluate: Leveled evaluation - Reaction, Learning, Transfer and Impact determines whether or not the training program produced the desired results – in terms of the goals and needs of the stakeholders. It also measures the effectiveness of the facilitator and the design of the course. These determinations will be a result of the data collected from the learners during and at the end of the course.
Ongoing evaluation will maintain the credibility of the course being taught and will assist in determining necessary improvements.
