French (TFI)
Two modules to progressively lead to proficiency.
Module 3 is optional for professionals, business persons and international students.
Module 1
Introduction to the language and an outlay and plan to follow
Understanding practical difficulties in learning and maintain enthusiasm
Understanding special perspectives which help non French speakers fast track
Able to meet immediate survival need
Speaker has limited but functional proficiency
Able to maintain very simple face-to-face conversations on familiar topics
Can initiate and maintain predictable face to face conversations and satisfy social demands
Module 2
Introduction to special vocabulary relating to work environments
Special features of professional communications
Able to satisfy routine social demands and limited work environments
Able to satisfy most requirements with the language
Extensive practice to be able to communicate effectively in almost in any situation
Model 3 (Optional for professionals, business persons and international students)
Practice (SUR PLACE): in actual environments and field trips to Montreal/Quebec
Practice (SUR PLACE): in actual environments and field trips to Geneva, Switzerland
