In today's business and project management environments, there are many opportunities for Business Analysts. These opportunities have a wide range differing in roles and levels of responsibilities within organizations requiring many years of business experience.
Business Analysts work closely with Project Managers and are an integral part of the project planning phase. They are mainly responsible for the Business Requirements Document (BRD), which impacts the project's success. Throughout the project lifecycle, the BA and the BRD are continually referred to and made use for quality management and project scope management.
For initial certification CBAP, the term IIBA uses is Professional Development hours or PD hours when referring to the requirement. PDU is a Project Management Institute (PMI) term. On the application form for the professional development section, the applicant is asked to fill in the number of Credit Hours for the course. 1 hr of PD = 1 Credit Hour which usually equals 1 hour of classroom time.
This Course qualifies for the 35 hours of required training from HiTech, a professionally recognized Endorsed Education Providers (EEP).
